Munster

The wonderfully diverse province of Munster stretches from the historical attractions of Tipperary and Waterford in the east to the natural wonders of the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher in the west. Throw in the hubs of Killarney, Cork and Waterford and lesser driven Dingle Peninsula and you have some of the standout reasons to visit the island of Ireland. You couldn't do any better than Munster to get a snapshot of what Ireland's all about. Munster is surprisingly well served by air with Shannon Airport (near Limerick) connected to North America and Cork Airport offering short haul flights to the UK and Europe.

Find out more about Munster, possibly Ireland's most beautiful area, plus Limerick (kidding! put the spade down), with our travel guides and attraction reviews.
